Chop Shop Records Welcomes Two New Bands!
We are pleased to announce the addition of Scars on 45 and Mackintosh Braun to the Chop Shop Records family.
Scars on 45 is a 6 piece band from Bradford, England, formed in late 2007. Success for them began on a music networking site called Slice The Pie, where artists raise money through fan support (more info here). After a placement on CSI:NY, the bands popularity began to increase and caught the attention of our little operation over here in the states. Their debut album is scheduled for release later this year.

Mackintosh Braun is a Portland based electronic-pop duo whose debut album, The Sound created an international following for the band. They were introduced to us a couple years back when we were able to place their songs on the NBC show, Chuck. They are currently in the studio working on material for their second album and first with Chop Shop Records.
