Bon Iver – “Holocene”

Mr. Iver ranks in my top favorite artists of all time.  His music taps into some special portal that transports me to another world.  I love the new album and have not been able to get far away from this song.  Ever since I heard the word “magnificent” sung in falsetto I was sold.

Sleeping At Last – “Wilderness”

I love love love this band! If you don’t know them, you need to check it out. Last year they started a project called Yearbook, which is a collection of 3 song EP’s released every month for a year. Quite an undertaking, but they are all amazing. When I got the July EP, this track stood out to me as one of the strongest of the entire project so far. I’m honestly going to be so sad when it is over.
