And an album that I didn't see on any of your lists that I listened to a ton this year was Foster the People - Torches. Its mainstream popularity wore off a little of the shine, but if I'm going off of total number of plays its right up there with Bon Iver for me. I just saw Ryan Adams last week at The Academy of Music in Philadelphia. WOW. Two hours with Ryan, an acoustic guitar, harmonica and a piano. He continues to blow me away. Right now the three CD's I have in my cup holder in the car are Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto, Ryan's Ashes and Fire and Americana artist Craig Bancoff's forthcoming album Quakertown. Great stuff.
