The second song from the upcoming Breaking Dawn Part 1 Soundtrack is now available! It is a fantastic little tune from Christina Perri called “A Thousand Years” and you can check it out in the very cool lyric video above and also download it on iTunes.

If you can’t contain yourself and absolutely need to hear more of the soundtrack, you can hear little snippets of a few more songs on the Twilight Facebook page under the Soundtrack tab.

The soundtrack for the fourth installment of the Twilight series is coming November 8th, but you don’t have to wait any longer to know what artists have made their way onto the album. The first single, “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars will be available exclusively on iTunes September 27th. Pre-order for the soundtrack will also be available on iTunes and the Official Site for the Breaking Dawn Soundtrack.

All you Twilight fans that have been waiting for info on the upcoming Breaking Dawn Soundtrack, we can finally start telling you some good news! “It Will Rain”, a brand new song from Bruno Mars will be featured on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

“It Will Rain” will be available exclusively on iTunes Tuesday, September 27th.

The soundtrack will be available everywhere November 8th.

It’s almost here! The first installment of the Breaking Dawn finale is hitting theaters on November 18th…but you already knew that! You’ve probably already scouted the spot where you can camp out weeks before it opens haven’t you? Lucky for you, now you will have some new music to listen to to get you ready for the new film!

On November 8th, Chop Shop Records, along with Atlantic Records and Summit Entertainment, will be releasing The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack!

This marks the fourth soundtrack release in the Twilight franchise and will include a number of fantastic exclusive never before released songs from some of your favorite artists. We are still hard at work, but we will let you know more info and tracklisting when we can!

Did you get your invitation to the wedding?

It’s here! The very first trailer for the highly anticipated The Twilight Sage: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is finally here! Check it out above or at the very snazzy IMDb page. The film doesn’t come out until November so you’ve still got time to make arrangements for the wedding, plan what you are wearing, what gift to buy, and what vampire or werewolf you want to slowdance with at the reception.

This is just a small glimpse into what is to come. Stay tuned for much much more in the coming months!

On Sunday night, the Chop Shop crew was in attendance for The Grammy Awards in downtown LA. We were fortunate enough to receive a nomination for the Twilight Soundtrack, and even though we didn’t take home the gramophone, we all had a great time.

Getting to be in the room with so many talented people was a trip, and seeing legendary artists like Elton John, Jeff Beck, and Smokey Robinson perform wasn’t too bad either. Who knew Pink could do that, by the way?

After the show, we went to the Warner Music After-Party at XIV in Hollywood. Several who were nominated and won Grammys were there celebrating with, what seemed like everyone else from the music industry. We may or may not have been stalking Sheryl Crow for a good portion of the night.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and it was a night that none of us will soon forget. Thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement. Hopefully we will get a chance to go back again in the future!

Hey kids, remember to watch the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday January 31st at 8PM on CBS. The Twilight Soundtrack is nominated for Best Soundtrack and we are all crossing our fingers that Alex brings home a little gramophone trophy (which I hear are bigger than you might imagine).

The catch is that this category won’t actually be aired during the telecast. But I’m sure there will be one of those snazzy commercial lead ins that will give the winner, so make sure you pay very close attention!
